OSM Community
What is OSM Community?
OSM Community is a community of practitioners who leverage the practical knowledge and insights of early Office of Strategy Management (OSM) adopters. This is a peer network of practitioners experienced in leading and managing OSMs today. OSM Community will help practitioners learn from others and gain better advantage from their investment in creating an Office of Strategy Management. Based on work with scores of organizations from around the world, developed over the course of dozens of in-depth workshops and webcasts, we invite you to join with other practitioners to build your OSM.

Why should you join OSM Community?
Join OSM Community to develop your team’s capabilities and make strategy execution a sustainable competency in your organization. This program is designed to benefit organizations that have made a commitment to using the Kaplan-Norton approach to strategy management and who already have—or plan to create—an Office of Strategy Management.
OSM Community is a powerful resource you can use to build the right competencies across your OSM team. The OSM will ensure that your organization will be well prepared to survive—and thrive—through the inevitable challenges in managing and executing strategy that lie ahead.
"This experience has made all the difference in creating a truly effective OSM and building the capabilities of our OSM team. The experience sharing, and thought leadership, provided more valuable input than we could gain from any other source."
- Martha Greenway, Deputy Superintendent and Organization Development Officer, Fulton County Schools
How does OSM Community work?
OSM Community is a fee-based membership community of strategy management practitioners. The community is facilitated by Randall Russell who directed the original five year, $5 million development effort which generated the body of knowledge that serves as the starting point for OSM Community. The OSM body of knowledge includes contributions from Kalpan & Norton and other thought leaders, and will grow in value through contributions from member organizations. The community is dedicated to building a sustainable capability to execute strategy within each member organization. All of the community assets and resources are designed to facilitate the achievement of an action plan and each organization is encouraged to create as they join the community. Community assets include: access to a library of educational materials that members can use on an as-needed basis, community conference calls to present new content (cases, concepts, and experience), and social networking to facilitate knowledge exchange across the community.
Membership
The annual membership includes: unlimited access to the program resources for your OSM team and one seat at an annual Palladium Summit (of your choice).
