Matthew Tice
Senior Managing Director, Asia-Pacific (APAC)
Matthew Tice oversees Palladium’s Asia-Pacific region, a practice which he founded in 2000. Matthew is also the director of both Palladium Consulting Pty Ltd in Australia and Palladium Group PTE Ltd in Singapore. He is recognized as one of the leading experts in strategy execution and performance management in the region and has worked with clients across industries in North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Australasia, the Middle East and Africa, including some of the world’s most influential companies, several national governments, and non-government organizations. Tice was one of the first westerners to introduce the Balanced Scorecard concept to China, India, and Africa and has since become one of a very few global experts that has worked continuously with Drs. Robert Kaplan and David Norton almost since the inception of the idea in the mid 1990s. Tice was previously co-founder and managing director in Asia of Renaissance Worldwide where he spent the majority of his time advising companies on market entry strategy into China and telecommunications strategy. He career as a nuclear engineer and program manager with the US Navy and built a reputation as a skilled troubleshooter for highly complex problems. He also worked at the Coca-Cola Company, driving strategic marketing, alliance management and production management programs. Tice is a frequent public speaker and a member of the CEO Institute in Australia. He holds a BSc degree in industrial and operations engineering from the University of Michigan, and an MBA from the Colgate Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia. |
