“2010 marks the 10th anniversary of the Palladium Group in Asia Pacific. Over the last decade we have seen significant change in the region from the rise of China, the establishment of flourishing democracies in Indonesia and the Philippines, and a general shift of economic power from West to East.”
- Matthew Tice, Managing Director, Palladium Group Asia Pacific
About the Summit
These major trends have significant implications for the region in terms of how to cope with growth in an increasingly volatile and asymmetric world economy. In parallel with these seismic shifts, we have seen, and helped to create, a shift in the way organisations in the public and private sector in Asia-Pacific manage themselves. Ten years ago strategy execution as a term was only in its infancy, now it is a profession in its own right with thousands of people around the world and in the region claiming membership. At the same time, to claim their rightful place in the world economy Asian organisations are required to build institutions founded on principles of good governance, sound ethics and transparent business practices. We believe that for the next decade to come Strategy Execution and Governance will be the dominant themes driving business and governments alike to create competitive and comparative advantage. Excellence in these disciplines will be the determining factors in accessing capital and direct investment and the core requirement for sustained performance on the world stage. Based on these beliefs, we have chosen Strategy Execution and Governance For the Next Decade as the theme for this year’s summit.
Our program brings thought leadership and practical experience from around the region and the world as well as contributions from two luminaries, Dr David Norton, one of the founding fathers of the Balanced Scorecard Strategy Execution System and co-founder of Palladium, and Dr Jesus Estanislao, a driving force in helping to bring good governance practices to the region.
Only through knowledge sharing events such as this are organisations in the region able to learn and adapt proven concepts fast enough to remain competitive. We look forward to sharing our ideas with you and to learning about your challenges and opportunities as we move into the next decade.

Summit Learning Experiences
The two day Summit includes case studies and best practices of the Kaplan-Norton Strategy Management System, break-out sessions, keynotes, peer-to-peer networking, and the Annual Hall of Fame Awards Ceremony which recognizes those companies that have demonstrated breakthrough performance and achieved an “execution premium” —the measureable value of executing their strategy and achieving goals.
Add the powerful interactive Optional Business Excellence War Game Simulation Workshop where the concepts discussed in the two day programme will be put into action. The lucky delegates who are able to secure a spot in this optional day three session will be split into groups and formed as teams to compete with their colleagues for top honours! The session will feature a common scenario and will require the participants to apply sound governance and strategy execution methods to create value for a realistic but fictional organisation. The winning team will receive a trophy, certificate and bragging rights.
