Executive Insights

Palladium Executive Insights feature educational sessions in which expert practitioners come on-site for a half-day to two days to share our codified knowledge in the form of points of view, methodologies and case studies on key challenges. Exploring both process and technology components, each session stimulates fresh thinking, accelerates an organization’s learning on leading strategy execution practices and compresses time-to implementation.

For Performance Dashboards, we offer a series of Executive Insights sessions designed to address elements of the key challenge: "How can we report and track our strategy?," including:

Managing Strategic and Operational Initiatives
Challenge: What are the characteristics of an efficient and effective initiative management process?
Overview: Most organizations find it difficult to generate value from the initiative portfolio. Companies spend billions every year on the "wrong" projects where less than half of all projects are truly aligned to a company’s strategy and only one in seven projects adds value beyond "staying even." To successfully drive strategy execution, organizations must create a consistent and common process that puts strategy at the center of initiative management. Our approach is to create a robust initiative management process including defining strategic priorities, rationalizing and prioritizing initiatives, standardizing initiative tracking, and embedding initiative performance management into the planning governance process.
