As development director, Richard is responsible for the growth of the business through new contract acquisition and geographical, client and service diversification. Richard has worked in international development for over 25 years, leading large-scale programme implementation, representing donors and acting as a senior adviser to governments in the UK, Europe and Africa. Prior to working for Palladium he was Chief Executive of the Plunkett Foundation, which promotes enterprise-based solutions to rural development. He also chaired the UK government's rural enterprise task group and acted as a non-executive director of the government's Rural Development Service. Richard has an MA from Cambridge University and an MBA from Warwick Business School.
