Santiago Sedaca

Santiago leads the Economic Growth practice for the US Business Unit, which implements projects worldwide in the areas of value chain upgrading, agricultural development, financial inclusion, trade and investment promotion, workforce development, and policy reform. Prior to joining Palladium he served as President of CARANA Corp. Over the last ten years he has developed practical methodologies for identifying and nurturing public-private partnerships and inclusive business models, developing case studies, identifying good practices, and training practitioners and policymakers on how to engage the private sector. Santiago served in Ecuador as Chief of Party of the USAID/Ecuador Productive Network Project, designed and managed the USAID/Colombia Enterprise Development Project, the USAID/Guyana Trade and Investment Services Project, and the USAID/Uganda Value-Added Maize Alliance, among many others. He previously served in the Salt Lake Olympics Committee, at Arbros Communications, and as an Economist at SRI International. He is a graduate of the Georgetown University Masters Program in Foreign Service, and has Bachelor degrees in Economics and Political Studies from Gordon College. He is a native Spanish speaker.
