"Science Speaks" Blog Celebrates Life and Work of Anita Datar
The blog Science Speaks published a post today celebrating the work of our colleague Anita Datar.
Anita was among the 20 people killed during the terrorist attack in Bamako, Mali on the 20th of November. The many articles published in the wake of her murder mention her dedication to public health, but the true impact of her leadership in the global response to the HIV/AIDS crisis was beyond the scope of these tributes. In this guest post, her colleagues Ron MacInnis, Andrew Zapfel and Nicole Judice share more detailed and nuanced examples of her work and shed light on her legacy.
