Palladium's SURGES project with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) will foster sustainable economic opportunities, promote investment, and generate sales and jobs in the southern-southeastern region of Mexico. Through this consultancy, SURGES will provide direct technical assistance to financial institutions seeking access to second-tier capital (“Fuentes de capital de Segundo Piso”) to finance projects in the states and regions where it operates. This specialised assistance will help institutions improve their access and search for sources of financing. Institutions should commit a portion of the capital obtained to states in the southern-southeastern states.
