Palladium's Pacific Labour Facility (PLF) works with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) to support the administration of the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) scheme and facilitate opportunities for Australian employers to connect with workers from the Pacific and Timor-Leste. 

The Ministry of Internal Affairs Overseas Employment Division (OED), Tonga, and the PLF are jointly undertaking a research study to understand the social impacts of labour mobility in Tonga. The researcher will support the PLF and OED in conducting fieldwork in Tonga and Australia for the study. The PLF and OED are seeking two Researchers to support this study.
